Fairies rule from the clouds. Demons run wild in the depths. The mortal human playthings are stuck in the middle, and for one woman who can’t resist adventure or temptation, she’ll find out just how bad that can be—the hard way.
This graphic, paranormal love-triangle drama is focused on romantic tension and character dynamics. It is a true love-triangle, with all three characters romantically interested in each other. The tone will be steamy and dramatic.
Intended duology (Tossed Around, Turned Around).

Sample Scene:
Delicate ice coated her skin where his fingers had gripped her forearm, but it melted almost immediately. She clung on to the cold sensation long after the frost had succumbed to the heat of the midday sun, clamping her hand over her skin as if she could smother his memory into staying.
She approached the well, her true destination, with weariness weighing her feet down. She sagged against the wall and sighed.
How many times had she leaned against the stone there? How many minutes had she spent wasting away in wishfulness, right there? Wondering. Waiting. Wanting.
She sat at the edge of the well, staring into the emptiness below with total disinterest. Not even the dryness on her tongue could drive her to reach for the bucket. Certainly not the scolding she knew would come when she inevitably returned far later than she was supposed to.
She stared into the darkness stretching beneath her. Her deepest desires were unreachable, up above the clouds. All she wanted was to soar at his side, but she’d been born to the human world, and she could no sooner take to the skies than she would plummet to the depths.
She yearned with all her body and wished with all her heart, but no fairy from Haven or demon from Inferno had lifted a finger for human desire in over a century.
A spark grew in the gloom. She brushed it off at first, thinking it a willful figment of her imagination. But, after a few breaths, the ruddy glow did not fade. Gripping the edge of the stone wall, she leaned forward and peered into the well.
The glow pulsed. A deep red light, promising searing heat, blinked at her from the dark abyss. The pattern mesmerized her. Tempted her. Called her.
Her heartbeat leapt into her throat. That red light came from Inferno; there could be no mistake. Her subconscious screamed caution, but she’d abandoned her reason for feverish faith long ago before that hot summer day.
For she had yearned with all her body, and she had wished with all her heart—and an answer finally bloomed in response.
She held the stone wall so tight her knuckles went white. She bit the edge of her bottom lip, wondering if the burn of infernal fire could delight like the bite of pristine ice.
She couldn’t wait to find out.
She hurled herself headfirst down into the well, an arm outstretched toward the pulsing glow she couldn’t resist, never once questioning why Inferno had answered.
