You know what they say about best laid plans…
After reflecting on some wise feedback, I’m changing the dates for the re-release of the Harmony Ends series. I had oh so cleverly forgot to factor in a certain event occurring this November 5th in America that might shake life up. Just a bit.
Giving that November 5th date some space will be best for everyone’s mental health, mine included. The series will still release in its entirety from Sep-Dec in 2024, though. Here are the new and official dates:

The thing is, I didn’t assign these dates based on their distance from November 5th.
Through the many months it has taken to set up this re-release, I’ve been immersed in the world building and magic systems I fell in love with back in 2019 when I first thought up the Harmony universe. As I marinated in all that magic, I realized there were some pretty cool Easter eggs I could plant for you all. Except, this particular one is a super deep-cut Easter egg that needs some explanation.
One of the core passages I first wrote for this series is about Lucky’s birth day, featured in Earth Song. She described how the new moon hung in the sky when she was born, different from the full moon that usually heralded her family births.
So why not give Lucky’s series a rebirth on the new moon, too?
That’s right. Aug 4th, Sep 2nd, Oct 2nd, and Dec 1rst are all days the new moon will rise above us, and all days we can crack open one of Lucky’s adventures, figuratively hot off the press.
December 21rst is the only release date that is not on a new moonrise; it is the winter solstice. And yes, there is absolutely a reason for that… but you’ll have to wait to read about it!
