Wow. I’m almost impressed with my own time blindness. I’ve intended to reengage this little corner of my website for ages, but even though I know it’s been awhile, it’s hard looking at the date and acknowledging just how long it’s really been.
Since my last post, I have started my own publishing LLC and published four titles under my own name and company. That is mind-boggling to me. I could not have imagined this setup when I left teaching all those years ago to pursue my dream.
But that’s just the thing. I did leave teaching pursuing a dream; now I’m creating a career. I’m building the foundation for a brand that will outlast my lifetime.
That’s exactly what the Harmony Ends series means to me when you strip away all the love and tears I’ve poured into those stories. They are building blocks for something bigger— beloved to be sure, but building blocks all the same.
The best thing to do with building blocks is to make sure you’ve got enough to make a sturdy foundation, and now, all this time after my last post…
A five-book main series with a prequel novella. Two parallel series, numbering around five books each, too. And that’s just what I actually have outlined and (mostly) drafted.
I can’t wait to share more about what I’ve been creating, but I want to know what you’re most curious about. What’s in store for those companion series? How I managed to write four books at once? All the different ways my furry overlord tried to claim my typing hands?
